Chicago, IL – Two Injured in School Bus Crash on Todd Farm Drive
Chicago, IL (November 16, 2024) – Two individuals, including an elementary school student, sustained injuries when a school bus collided with a car in northwest suburban Elgin on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m. near Todd Farm Drive and Braeburn Drive, according to police. The bus, operated by School District U-46, was carrying 37 kindergarten through 6th-grade students when it collided with a passenger vehicle.
One student aboard the bus and the driver of the car were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
